Lindenwood Students:

I have set up the paper assignments for your classes. The first, Short Paper 1, is due next week. Your paper should be submitted to turnitin.com on the same day it is due in class.

Go to turnitin.com and join the appropriate class. You will need the class number listed here before your class and the password to join, which is tgrissom. You must join a class before you can submit papers, so be sure to choose the correct night of the week.

Turnitin.com Information for Lindenwood Classes

I have created classes on Turnitin.com for both Lindenwood sections. You may now go to the website and create a profile. Be sure to do this before attempting to turn in any papers, or it will reject them. I only want the final version of your paper - no drafts are necessary.

To submit a paper, you will need the class number for your night and the password, which I will give you in class this week.

Turnitin.com Class Number and Instructions for Lindenwood Winter 2009

All major papers (Short Paper 1, Short Paper 2, Research Paper, Literature Paper) should be submitted to the website Turnitin.com on their due date.

At the website, click on New Users, follow the instructions, and join the appropriate class. You will need the class number and password. Then when you're ready, you can submit your papers. I will give you the password in class, but if you forget, just email me. Remember you must submit the final draft of all major papers to turnitin.com. To do so, you will need to create a profile and join my class before you can turn in papers. See the class number below. Be sure you receive a confirmation notice each time you submit something.

• If you don't submit papers in a timely fashion, I will consider them late and you will lose points.
• Always turn your papers in at the same time you are printing them for class. The website won't allow you to submit a paper after the due date, so be sure to get it all done at once. I strongly recommend you print your papers the night before they are due.
• You can create a profile at any time; you don't have to wait until it's time to submit a paper.

Due This Week - Don't Forget the Sketch Outline!

This week I am collecting Short Paper 1. Put it in a folder that has your name on the front and include the following:

• Any drafts of the paper
• A sketch/informal outline with your thesis and the points you discussed, in order
• The final draft/version of Short Paper 1

You must also submit your paper to Turnitin.com before the class next week. I will not give you back your graded paper until it is submitted. You will need the class number for your night to submit the paper:
