EN095 Guidelines for Final Description or Narration Paper

Your final paper should have the following:

• A clear overall point about your story or description. For example, if you are describing a place or person, summarize your dominant impression of them. If you are telling a story, explain what the event taught you.
• Clear Organization such as chronological order for a story or spatial order for a description (top to bottom, left the right...)
• Correct grammar, punctuation, word choice and spelling
• Clear, easily read sentences

Bring a first draft to class tomorrow for revision.

The final paper should be 3 pages long. Turn it in using a two-pocket folder, and include at least one rough draft besides the final version and your peer review comments. Put your name on the front of the folder. Use Times New Roman 12 pt font for the essay, and turn it in at 2:30 p.m. on December 7.
